*TWISTED MIDNIGHT*
Page Two

I started to mold the frame and found a few things I wanted changed on the second trip to Ross. First off, he redid the stock type oil line attachments on the oil tank to the much cleaner looking stainless lines and chrome fittings. That really cleaned up that area. Then, he fabbed new, easier access oil tank mounts to the frame and replaced the rear cross bar with a smoother curved bar to make room for the larger rear fender and tire.

At the same time, he mounted the rear fender and made a cleaner support under the fender at the sissy bar. Jason had the license plate mount welded to the frame where it presently is, on the left side. But, I thought it would better and sturdier if we made it removable and reinforced it with a bracket in the same location, using the same white license light that Jason used. On the rear fender, Ross mounted a bayonet that was handed down to Jason by his grandfather. A nice personal touch that fits very nice between the sissy bar rails.

After that we made new, smoother wheel spacers and a new caliper support with Heim joints. Notice the difference in width and height of the new rear tire. I had the seat and pillion pad reupholstered with Jasons CFE emblem and also GOTF embroidered on each of them.
